Trintech has unveiled plans to expand capabilities across Asia Pacific through the opening of a new office, based in Singapore.
In providing cloud-based software solutions specific to the finance sector, the move is designed to bring the company closer to customers within the ASEAN region.
One such customer is Ingram Micro, with the global distributor implementing the provider’s Cadency solution, which provides governance and control across record-to-report processes.
“We are excited to hear of Trintech's newest investment in the APAC region,” Ingram Micro senior vice president and corporate controller, James Agnew, said.
“With Trintech's expansion in Singapore and Malaysia, we believe that this will improve support for our Cadency users in ASEAN, while better aligning with our global network.”
Alongside Ingram Micro, key customers within the technology space include HP and Siemens.
From a channel perspective, Trintech partners with the Big Four in the market, alongside business process outsourcers and system integrators, as well as consultancy and advisory firms.
Key partners include Capgemini; PWC; Accenture; IBM; DXC Technology and Wipro, backed up by vendor agreements with Microsoft, Rackspace, Oracle, Netsuite and SAP.
Furthermore, the Singapore office opening aims to address the growing regional demand, while improving ongoing support of customers in a market billed as “important” by the provider.
“Trintech is experiencing rapid adoption and expansion of our solutions in the APAC region," Trintech vice president of sales Asia Pacific, Ben Cornforth, added.
“In order to continue to support ongoing demand and innovation, we are committed to the necessary investments we need to make to better support our customers and partners in this region.”
The addition of Singapore to the provider’s regional footprint also follows recent expansion into Australia, through the launch of a new data centre and in-country team.
Specifically, the new facility aims to provide higher performance, support for local data governance requirements and improved responsiveness.
“We are seeing rapid adoption and expansion of Trintech’s solutions in the APAC region,” Trintech chief product officer, Michael Ross, said at the time of launch.
“We are entirely focused on our customers’ needs and experience with our solutions, and this investment illustrates this commitment to ensuring a best in class experience wherever our customers are globally.”
