SolarWinds signs up Ingram Micro to serve Singapore and Hong Kong

Vendor will add to network management, monitoring, performance, and security portfolios

SolarWinds has appointed Ingram Micro as its distribution partner in Asia Pacific, specifically targeting Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

As a provider of IT infrastructure management software, SolarWinds will add to Ingram Micro’s portfolio of network management, monitoring, performance, and security offerings.

"SolarWinds is an important addition to our existing vast portfolio and we believe has high potential in the Singapore and Hong Kong markets,” said Francis Choo, vice president and chief country executive of ASEAN and HK, Ingram Micro.

"With the current virtualisation trend, network and systems management software it is crucial for businesses of all sizes and SolarWinds will help enable our partners to easily pinpoint and identify issues via their user-friendly interface."

With a strong channel presence, SolarWinds’ solutions allow partners to monitor and manage the performance of IT environments, spanning on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid models.

Specifically, the vendor engages with a range of technology players, including IT operations and DevOps, in addition to managed service providers.

"Ingram Micro holds extensive experience in the region, and we believe they will enhance our coverage across the market and assist us in reaching a broader audience of potential resellers who can promote and deliver SolarWinds(r) products to their customers," added David Cronk, senior vice president of international sales, SolarWinds.
