Silver Peak expands managed SD-WAN services play with NSC

Alliance aims to deliver single service solution to global customers

Silver Peak has revealed a new partnership with professional services firm NSC Global in an effort to expand its growing managed SD-WAN services portfolio.

The expansion, set to include a large part of the Asian market, will see the networking vendor leverage presence across more than 180 countries with a network of over 4,500 partner resources.

The SD-WAN infrastructure market is expected to reach US$4.5 billion by 2022, and according to IDC, the battle for supremacy comes down to a select group of vendors, namely, Silver Peak, Cisco, VMware and Riverbed.

"By partnering with Silver Peak, we can expand our global SD-WAN deployment services practice, offer a white-label managed SD-WAN service to our service provider clients and offer new and existing enterprise clients turnkey managed SD-WAN services,” said Sascha Groeger, chief commercial officer of NSC.

NSC now serves as a single source provider, offering professional SD-WAN deployment services, white-label managed SD-WAN services to tier one and multi-national service providers and turnkey managed SD-WAN services to new and existing enterprise clients.

The new Silver Peak-based managed SD-WAN services are available immediately to NSC enterprise and service provider clients and partners globally, allowing the offering of metered white label managed SD-WAN services at large-scale levels.

The agreement with NSC includes pre-sales, advisory and consulting, as well as procurement, hardware, software, purchase or lease, in addition to staging and provisioning, device and circuit testing and management, alongside deployment, install, turn-up, test and lifecycle management.

The firm will also provide 24x7x365 monitoring and break-fix, capacity analysis and reporting, as well as network and application performance monitoring, management and reporting, in addition to expedited moves, adds, changes, and deletes (MACD).
