Innovix Distribution has signed an agreement with Dropsuite to enhance security capabilities of Microsoft Office 365 through the channel.
Terms of the deal will see Dropsuite’s fully-automated cloud back-up and archiving solution for Office 365 added to the distributor’s suite of cloud managed services, which will be rolled out to an Asian network of resellers.
Founded in 2012, Singapore-based Dropsuite goes to market as a global cloud software platform, through the provision of cloud back-up, e-discovery, archiving and recovery solutions.
“We believe in a shared responsibility for security in the cloud - and the partnership between Innovix Distribution and Dropsuite means we can now offer an easy and seamless way to protect businesses against adverse data events such as malware, ransomware and accidental loss,” said Yoon Kam Fei, cloud director of Innovix Distribution.
“We look forward to providing the benefits of Dropsuite’s dependable cloud data protection products to the market with our extensive reach via our channel partners.”
From a technology perspective, the software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering is “highly scalable”, allowing users to “automatically safeguard” Office 365 data in the cloud, while restoring “lost, stolen or deleted data on demand”.
Microsoft applications that are safeguarded include Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Groups and Teams.
“We are honoured to partner with Innovix Distribution, one of the most respected distributors in Asia,” said Ridley Ruth, COO of Dropsuite. “Through Innovix Cloud, Asian resellers now have a new way to generate recurring revenue while safeguarding their clients’ Office 365 data with Dropsuite’s highly reliable, scalable and secure backup, archiving and recovery solutions.”
According to Ruth, Dropsuite’s products and solutions also help organisations comply with a "broad variety" of international rules and regulations, including the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act and GDPR.
