Ibex, an off-shore business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, has unveiled plans to employ as many as 1000 employees in the Philippines following the opening of a new service centre.
Located in Alabang, Muntinlupa, the new facility can house up to 1000 seats, with plans in place to reach 850 employees by the end of November.
“This is the first of three new sites we are launching in the Philippines for a total expansion of over 2700 seats in 120 days,” said Bob Dechant, CEO of Ibex. “Ibex has been growing well above the market which means most importantly new jobs and career advancement for our people.”
In launching a new location in Alabang, alongside the additional new sites, the provider now employs over 10,000 staff in the Philippines, with more than 30 sites across the world.
“Our growth is the result of an engaged and high-performing workforce and our ability to offer broader solutions than the traditional BPOs,” Dechant added. “We offer cutting-edge digital market services, industry-elite BPO operations, and the most robust customer experience management platform in the industry to drive revenue, reduce costs, and improve customer loyalty for our clients.”
From a technology perspective, Ibex delivers onshore, near shore and off-shore BPO solutions in seven countries across 30 sites, maintaining a network of over 20,000 employees.
The provider focuses on improving the customer service experience on behalf of over 70 global customers through multi-channel inbound and outbound communications in over 20 languages.
“We focus on providing our employees with an environment of rewards, recognition and amazing experiences,” said Potski Alvarez, senior vice president and country manager of Philippines at Ibex.
