Dell Boomi flags new learning pathways in partner program overhaul

Dell Boomi is now offering partners two new learning pathways to encourage proficiency in certain areas

Dell Boomi has re-jigged its partner program with a view to improving resources, support and training for the company’s channel partner community.

An independent business unit within Dell, the cloud integration and workflow automation software provider has added four levels of participation for partners in its Boomi Global Partner Program. These are: authorised; advanced; select and elite.

The company said that, at any level, participating partners can earn referral fees or participate as a reseller of Boomi products.

As part of its partner program expansion, Dell Boomi is now offering partners two new learning pathways to encourage proficiency in certain areas.

One of the two paths is the Partner Integration Accelerator Program, which is structured to ensure partners gain practical experience while leveraging Boomi best practices.

The other pathway is the Partner Competency Recognition, which involves skills development throughout the sales and delivery cycle that is aimed at recognising partners’ commitment to sell, design and implement solutions.

Additionally, Dell Boomi has launched a new partner portal, which stands as a key part of the company’s efforts to build greater loyalty among channel partners and to facilitate the recruitment of additional partners.

The new partner portal provides training, pre-sales and sales material, marketing collateral, implementation guides and support.

According to Dell Boomi Asia Pacific and Japan managing director, Michael Evans, the company redeveloped its partner program following lengthy consultation with its channel community on how it could make it more beneficial to work with the company.

“The new program delivers a better partner experience with access to best practice delivery methodology, new sales and marketing content, and a vast catalogue of new learning pathways for Boomi practitioners to become skilled and certified on our platform,” Evans said.

“Ultimately, we want to both empower our partners to run successful cloud integration practices, and jointly ensure our customers get the best solution outcomes for their business,” he said.

For Dell Boomi business development vice president, Dave Tavolaro, the Dell Boomi Global Partner Program has been “reimagined” to suit partners’ needs in the current market climate and into the future, to help partners grow their practice by delivering additional value.

“Boomi’s global partner ecosystem exists to drive success for our shared customers by helping enterprises connect everything and engage everywhere across any channel, device or platform,” Tavolaro said.
