Extreme Networks joins RSA Secured Partner Program to extend network-wide security

Interoperability partnership enables joint customers to achieve higher levels of network awareness with certified interoperability established between ExtremeXOS® OS and the RSA enVision® platform

SYDNEY, April 16. Extreme Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXTR) has announced that it has joined the RSA Secured® Partner Program to certify interoperability between its ExtremeXOS® operating system and the RSA enVision® security information and event management platform from RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC). Certification establishes technical interoperability to promote more pervasive, network-wide security solutions.

Extreme Networks’ next generation modular operating system, ExtremeXOS, delivers cutting-edge security features, including awareness of user and device identity, authentication, encryption, integrity and protection, flexible file-based policy language, and XML across Extreme Networks complete portfolio of high performance BlackDiamond® and Summit® switches.
