Twitter now supports multiple YubiKeys to protect accounts against phishing
Twitter has today announced via a @TwitterSupport post (https://twitter.com/TwitterSupport) that it has expanded security key support to allow for multiple YubiKeys to be registered to an account, enabling the highest level of account security with a seamless user experience.
Whether you’re a high-profile user or a low-key one, this is a huge update to keep your business or personal account secure. YubiKeys are made by Yubico, the leading provider of hardware authentication security keys and offer Twitter users the best of both worlds – the best available security against phishing attacks and account takeovers, as well as the best user experience. To authenticate, users simply tap or touch their security key.
And coming soon will be the option to add and use security keys as the only authentication method for Twitter access, without any other methods turned on!
To see how this works watch this Yubico video on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qtf6BwEs3U) about enrolling multiple keys on your Twitter account.
