AVG Wins Computer Troubleshooters’ Vendor of the Year Award

AVG Technologies Australia today announces it has been awarded the coveted title of Vendor of the Year by the Computer Troubleshooters Franchise Network in Australia for the sixth time in seven years.

Nick Roche, National Director of Computer Troubleshooters Australia, said in making the award presentation to AVG at the organisation’s recent national conference: “In receiving a third of the vote from our franchisees, AVG has again been recognised for its combination of strong product range and channel relationship best practice.”

The ease of deployment of AVG CloudCare™ – AVG’s partner service model – and its ability to help resellers manage their customers’ security needs from a single pane of glass, is seen by the CTS network as being of very high value.

In the last year AVG has made significant investment in the local marketplace. It has expanded the reseller account management team to ensure each CTS franchisee has a dedicated account manager. AVG continues to release products that are channel-centric. The recent introduction of the AVG Managed Workplace RMM platform exemplifies the dynamic nature of AVG’s reseller activities. And its creative webinar series plays an important role in sustaining high levels of reseller satisfaction.

In response to the award, a delighted AVG Channel Sales Director, Michael Dowling, said: “As CTS introduces more vendors to its range each year, achieving this award becomes more and more competitive. We are bowled over to have won again. From what we’ve been hearing during the conference, the CTS folks appreciate AVG’s strong local account management. Our preparedness to listen and respond to their feedback is a huge positive. There is proactivity and respect on both sides that is obviously working very well for CTS and AVG.”

AVG has won the Vendor of the Year award in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013.
