Aussie start-up launches International Virtual Internship Program

Sydney NSW, 1st June 2017: Boundary breaking Aussie ERP start-up, cloudyBoss launched its International Virtual Internship Program this week and has been met with an almost overwhelming response from both young and mature technology talent. cloudyBoss interns who stay on are remunerated for their work via a unique APEASE agreement which offers a royalty-based remuneration similar to that of the music or publishing industries – so everyone is rewarded for their contribution they make, on an ongoing basis.

cloudyBoss’ main platform is a leading-edge cloud-based enterprise management engine. Backed by IBM's Global Entrepreneur Program, via the largest cloud infrastructure in the world, cloudyBoss is entering an exciting phase of its development and has welcomed the involvement of interns, during this phase from around the globe.

It is offering opportunities in object oriented coding, advanced agile cloud software development and the emerging field of block chain eco systems.

The main difference with this internship program is its flexibility. The organisation is a virtual one with open spaces around the world. Interns define how, when and where they work. The program duration is flexible and, unlike many internships, there is no cost. It only requires an investment of the intern’s time and passion.

In return, cloudyBoss offers hands-on education. Interns are involved in real-life code development scenarios on some of the world’s leading-edge technology.

cloudyBoss interns will be involved in areas such as AI, IoT, web 4.0. They will be mentored for four weeks during which time they will undergo refresher training and a strengthening of their native skills. They will be assessed on how transferrable their skills are, where their areas of interest lie and where they can be best deployed within the organisation.

Once deployed, they will then be fully supervised in their new role and they will be encouraged personally as well as professionally. Coaching in English, as well as business and management skills, are all part of the training.

Weekly and fortnightly training is conducted via Skype with the CTO, Giovanni di Noto or the most well-matched cloudyBoss global engineer.

Most importantly, cloudyBoss interns have the opportunity to achieve certification.

Schillaci stated: "Our intention is to retain talent and reward them through the APEASE agreement. We have already met some of the world’s best talent and we will work hard to incentivise them and retain their services."
